Practice Schedule ChangeOur new practice time is 6:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Middle School. We no longer have CP turf because of the high school football practices, and Rebels football has become too much of a nuisance on the CP grass field.Moving to PHMS also lets us move back to a later practice time that is more convenient. We have the field from 6:15 to dark, but plan to get out there by 6:00 so we can get our warmups out of the way before taking the field. We used a revised system of play in the third game of the Castro Valley tournament (3-5-2 instead of 4-3-3). With the revision, we have some catching up to do to quickly familiarize everyone with the new system, so plan on practice going until 7:45 for the next week or two. Our plan right now is to continue with the 3-5-2 at Pleasanton to see how it works out. Parking, drop-off, or pick-up at PHMS is in the main lot on the south side of the school. Do not drive around the north side of the school to the north-east parking lot--not even for drop-off or pick-up! The campus is in use during evenings for the Adult School, and they do not want people being dropped off or picked up from that lot. Posted by Dan 08/23/2009
